Cufflinks Require the Right Cuff

Not all men's shirts can accommodate cufflinks and therein lies the reason why we don’t wear them every day. Cufflinks can only be used with dress shirts that have French cuffs (double cuffs). It is possible to wear cufflinks with other dress shirts, but the end result may not be as polished as you’d want.

Types of Cufflinks

What is the standard cufflink size?

Most of the cufflinks that we carry measure 1-2 cm. There is not a standard cufflink size – personal preference and style play a larger role than a standard measurement. Please consult the dimensions of each pair of cufflinks to see if that pair is right for you and your French cuff shirt.

Matching Cufflink & Tie Clip Sets

Matching jewellery sets for men make an outstanding fashion statement and really complement your dressed-up look. Browse our selection of tie clips to find a tie bar or clip to match your new pair of cufflinks.

We also offer a broad range of matching sets that make finding the right jewellery even easier. If you do choose to do it yourself, a good rule of thumb is that materials should be similar enough colour-wise to give the impression of a true match – metals should match metals.

Which side should cufflinks face?

This is a very popular question. Using a French cuff shirt, insert the cufflink through both holes in the shirt's cuff. The decorated part of the cufflink should face outside (away from your body) when your arm is at your side.

Engravable Cufflinks – Gifts for Him

When you want to mark an occasion for someone special, your gift needs to be unique, meaningful and convey just the right message. With engraved cufflinks, you can be sure to express yourself and your message with style. Whether it’s a gift for Father’s Day, a personalised gift for groomsmen or even a unique customised present for Christmas, engraved cufflinks are the answer.

Two kinds of engraving methods are available for personalising your cufflinks, old-fashioned manual engraving and the newer high-tech laser engraving. We recommend laser engraving for its versatility and ability to engrave on non-flat surfaces, and we offer laser engraving on most products.
