Provides limited options for pendants, as the pendants that fit best with this type of necklace (including Viking pendants) cannot be slipped over the lock ring (hence only four stars)! Here a magnetic clasp or twist lock (with internal lock) would be appropriate. But of course, if you intend to use the chain solely without it, that's not a problem, just a bit more hassle to close and open. And of course, it's also a matter of taste.
