The belt would have been good otherwise, but the buckle mechanism is quite unfortunate. Normally, there are barbs in the automatic belt that the buckle catches. In this belt, the buckle worked only with friction, so the belt did stay closed somehow when in place, but it loosened immediately if you moved or sat down.
